Dr. Rod Chow
Dentist
Dr. Chow attended UBC Dental School after completing a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Victoria. Dr. Chow was born and raised in Victoria and has lived on the North Shore since 1990. Dr. Chow loves the technical challenges of dentistry and is excited to apply new technologies to help improve the oral health of his patients. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Chow feels so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world and spends his off time hiking or fishing with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Claire Chatelain
Dentist
Dr. Chatelain obtained her dental degree from Paris Descartes University in 2014, moved to Vancouver in 2016, passed successfully all the exams to be able to practice in Canada, and has since gained extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry. She is known for her gentle touch, her ability to put even anxious patients at ease, and her dedication to developing personalized treatment plans that meet her patients' unique needs.
As a dentist, Dr. Chatelain believes that prevention is key to maintaining good oral health, and encourages her patients to take an active role in their dental care. She provides comprehensive dental services, including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, prosthetics and extractions, as well as root canals.
Erin
CDA
Erin graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from Vancouver Community College in June 2002, working in another dental practice before joining Dr. Chow in 2006. Originally from the Sunshine Coast, she has lived on the North Shore since 2000. She likes to spend time with her family and friends and also enjoys playing sports.
Nancy
CDA
Nancy was born and raised in North Vancouver. She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant from Vancouver Community College in 1988 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Chow for many years. Her enthusiasm for educating patients about oral health and treatment options, as well as her warm chairside manner, make her well suited in her role as a CDA. Seven years ago, Nancy moved to Squamish where she balances her commute to North Vancouver with her interests which include hiking, mountain biking, sailing, skiing and travel.
Susan
CDA
Susan was born and raised on the North Shore. She is the newest member of our dental assistant team. As well as working part time in our office she also enjoys teaching yoga classes. Susan is married and enjoys hanging out with her family, especially her young nephews.
Giti
Hygienist
Giti was born in Iran and has lived most of her life in Canada. She graduated from John Abbott College in Montreal and has been a hygienist for many years; with Dr. Chow since 2007. She has two children who love to play hockey and soccer. Her favourite thing to do is to spend family time with them, biking, camping and watching movies.
Courtney
Hygienist
Courtney has dedicated the past ten years of her career to both bettering and educating clients, by promoting methods and techniques for advanced health care and dental hygiene. Having grown up on the North Shore, she found it natural to select it as the special community and canvas in which to paint her career path and excel within the dental hygiene practice. As a wife and mother of a two little boys, she prides herself on living a balanced life style. She loves running, skiing, exploring and discovering all that the North Shore has to offer.
Nicola
Hygienist
Nicola grew up in North Vancouver. She left to go to school and travel but returned and now calls the North Shore home again. She and her husband Robin have two children and a cat. Nicola graduated from Camosun College, Victoria with a diploma of dental hygiene in 1995 and has enjoyed working with Rod since 1999.
Karen
Hygienist
Born and raised in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Karen graduated from Vancouver College of Dental hygiene in 2009 and joined the Victoria Park Dental team shortly thereafter. She is passionate about dental hygiene and enjoys working with all of her clients to maintain their smiles. When she is not at the dental office, you can usually find her on one of the North Shore’s beautiful mountains with her hiking boots, running shoes or snowboard. She is also an avid traveller and takes any opportunity she can to explore our amazing planet.
Christine
Receptionist
Christine has worked with Dr. Chow as an administrator since 1994. She looks after payroll, A/R and of course all the other responsibilities of the front desk , taking great pride in her work. She is thrilled to be part of such a terrific team in a great office. She is married with 2 grown sons and has lived on the North Shore since 1992. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, walking (especially with her little Westie, Zoe), reading, art (painting), sewing and skiing.
Manjeet
Receptionist
Manjeet grew up in Quesnel and moved to the North Shore after marrying in 1983. She has been employed as a dental receptionist for many years and joined the Victoria Park Dental team in 2014. She enjoys meeting people and also finds the administrative side of the dental business rewarding. She loves to spend time with her daughter and enjoys walking, cooking and reading.
Korey
Receptionist
Korey’s dental office career began “too many years ago to count”. She has enjoyed every aspect of it, but for her the best part has been meeting so many wonderful people; her co-workers, the patients and the doctors she has had opportunity to work with. Dr. Chow’s office has been her home since 2006. Korey loves gardening, garden design and walking around the community admiring the landscape. With her husband they are restoring their 1920’s home. They have four daughters between them, one grandson, one grand-daughter and they look forward to many more grandchildren.

Receptionist
Colleen is a Certified Dental Assistant. She has enjoyed working with Rod and was excited to make a move to the front end to join the administrative team a few years ago. Colleen loves to spends time with her husband and two kids participating in everything the outdoor activities on the North Shore offer.
