A dental implant crown is made by taking a mold of the mouth to create a custom crown intended to cover the implant. The dental implant serves as a replacement for your tooth’s natural roots, and is inserted into the jaw to provide a solid foundation for the new crown.
Once cemented into place a dental crown will completely cover any portion of the tooth or implant that would normally appear above the gum line and is found to be a more comfortable and natural looking option to dentures.
